Parent Support

School Open Morning to Evening, Year-Round

Being bilingual at INIC helps children maintain strong ties with their family, culture, and community. We offer flexible hours, making it easier for parents to stay involved in their child’s development while balancing family life and work.

Parent-Teacher Conferences

Our Toddler, Preschool, and Pre-K classrooms hold parent-teacher conferences in the fall and spring semesters to give parents insight into their child’s progress. Teachers also offer practical suggestions on how parents can support their child’s learning at home.

Classroom Cameras & Frequent Updates

At INIC, parents receive daily updates on their child’s progress. Our WatchMeGrow cameras and Procare Solutions app offer easy-to-use, secure access to live classroom footage and regular communication, so parents can stay connected to their child’s educational experience.

Evidence-based Curriculum

Potty Training Support

Many PK3 and PK4 programs require students to be fully potty-trained, but INIC understands that every child develops at their own pace. Potty training starts at home, but our teachers are here to help guide children as they learn to use the bathroom independently.

Personal Attention

Excellent Teacher-to-Student Ratios

At INIC, we prioritize individualized attention to every child. Our preschool group ratio is 1:12 (TX Minimum Standards: 1:15), and our Pre-K group ratio is 1:14 (TX Minimum Standards: 1:18). If class sizes exceed our set ratios during peak times, additional assistants or co-teachers are available to provide support.

Lessons Tailored to Each Student’s Development

We recognize that all children learn differently. That’s why our teachers use various methods to teach concepts (e.g., visual aids, tactile tools, and interactive lessons). We assess each child’s strengths and areas for improvement, tailoring our approach to help them grow and reach their full potential. Teachers provide one-on-one attention when needed.

Small Group Lessons for Peer-Led Learning

Peer collaboration is an essential part of development. Children often excel when they learn alongside their peers. At INIC, children work together in small groups to master new skills and concepts. This cooperative learning approach fosters empathy, teamwork, and good citizenship.

My Happy Place

Students feel safe and secure in an environment designed just for them. Our classrooms and playgrounds are custom-built to cater to each age group. With a small campus where every child knows each other, INIC provides a sense of community, safety, and belonging. Our Safe Places offer a calming space for emotional processing.

Whole Child Development

Social Emotional Readiness

One of the most important aspects of preschool is helping children socialize and manage their emotions. At INIC, we teach Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) to help students resolve conflicts, empathize with others, and manage “big feelings.” This foundational skill helps them build strong relationships and develop emotional resilience.

Our Self Program

STEAM-Oriented Lessons

In addition to core curriculum foundations in math, reading, and writing, INIC also introduces children to science concepts and the natural world through engaging activities. Our “Creative Lab” program fosters exploration in art and music, where students use building blocks, puzzles, props, toys, and sensory materials to promote creativity, problem-solving, and social skills. We focus on hands-on learning and do not use screens at INIC.

Body Control, Coordination, Movement

Our gyms, playgrounds, and classrooms are designed to help children develop both large- and fine-motor skills that impact every part of the brain and body.
  • Large movement systems: coordination of arms, legs, and core (essential for an active lifestyle)
  • Fine movement systems: coordination of fingers, toes, and eyes (impacts reading, writing, posture, etc.)
These lessons help prepare students for future physical activities, building strength and coordination in a fun, engaging environment.

Purposeful Play Every Day

“Purposeful Play” takes the form of structured group and individual play, including sports, games, and imagination activities. INIC’s Purposeful Play is fun and crucial for a child’s social, emotional, and academic growth. It encourages creative thinking, collaboration, and healthy physical activity, all while promoting strong emotional development.

Language & Cultural Immersion

True Spanish Immersion with Diverse Teachers

Research shows that bilingual children have higher math, reading, emotional, and analytical skills. At INIC, we offer true immersion—every class is conducted in Spanish, every day. Our teachers are either native or fluent Spanish speakers, bringing a wealth of cultural experiences to the classroom. This approach helps students develop an appreciation for global diversity.

Weekly Interactive Mandarin Chinese Lessons

INIC offers weekly Mandarin Chinese lessons, providing an exciting next-level workout for young minds. Repeated exposure to a third language fosters cognitive flexibility, enhances phonetic awareness, and promotes problem-solving abilities in a fun and engaging way. This early language exposure helps children develop valuable skills that benefit them academically and socially.

Multicultural Celebrations, Lessons & Activities

INIC embraces inclusivity, diversity, and cultural curiosity. Through art, music, and traditional celebrations, our students explore American and international cultures. We celebrate holidays such as Thanksgiving, Black History Month, Día de los Muertos, Chinese New Year, Children’s Day, and more, helping children gain a global perspective.
